I am producing an excel file every day with a name of: XXX yymmdd, and as can be seen the date will of course change for every new file. I need to create a link to the file of the previous day and I am trying to use CONCATENAR to combine the XXX with the date to indicate which file I want the data from: [XXX yymmdd.xls] but can't seem to get it right. How do I make a reference to another file, where the file name change every day?
If the other file is open, you can use INDIRECT (see Excel help). If not, you could consider INDIRECT.EXT in morefunc.xll (see here)
