Hi to everyone in the forum.Appreciate all the hardwork you all are putting up.

Coming to my question: what are macros? how do we use them?. I just know the general basic stuff about excel.Now i working on it.Please give me some example so that i can understand better.

the best way to understand macros is in the VBA help files
The have worked example ect...
the vba help is in the VB Editor
"ALT" + "F11"

No, if its general stuff just message. the vba help files are where i learnt VBA. Just copied the examples and played around with the code
