Cell not saving formula once entered

I got a cell that no matter what formula I put in the cell

    for example

    =COUNTIF(I3:I10,"W")

it then gives me the answer "3", but the actual formula does not save in the cell. So if I remove so W it still stays at there. And unlike other cells that have formulas when I click it, it just shows 3 and not =COUNTIF(I3:I10,"W")

    I am using excel 2007.

its on sheet 12A and it is cell 11A if you need to download the workbook

    Thanks,

    Matt

Your VBA Change Event (used seemingly to coerce to upper case) will always override the formulae.

You might want to revise the ranges used in the Intersect such that formulae rows are excluded.
