    Dates in Col A, Amounts in Col. B. How to sum amounts per month?

    Hello. I have two columns

    A - dates in the form: day/month/year
    B- a dollar amount spent that day.

    What is the best way to provide at the end a filter which can display to me the totals per month? and for the whole year?

    Use a Pivot Table and group the dates according to month.
