Search Sequential Rows

On sheet1 of the attached example, I am trying to get column C to return the first value found in columns D though G on the "data" tab. "data" will be a list of securities and D through G are the identifiers associated with it but they are not always consistently populated. In sheet1 column E, I have a formula that will produce a result based on what is returned in column C.

How can i get the results to return in order, as in if 'data'D1 has a value then that will be returned and if not it will continue to search the next column and so forth until a value is found? Any help is appreciated.
