    Time Sheet

    I have entered the following numbers into a timesheet: 1.30, 1.30, 1.10, 4.20. The total is 7.90. I would like the total displayed as time 8:30. (1:30 + 1:30 = 3 hours + 1.10 = 4 hours and 10 min, + 4.20 = 8 hour and 30 min.) See what I mean?

    Re: Time Sheet

You need to enter times as times e.g 1:30, try attaching a workbook for us to look at
    Hope that helps.

    Re: Time Sheet

If you enter the times as shown (and not a great idea), then

    =(SUMPRODUCT(INT(A1:A4)) + SUMPRODUCT(MOD(A1:A4, 1)) * 100 / 60 ) / 24

and format the result as [h]:mm
Entia non sunt multiplicanda sine necessitate
