Excel Sales SpreadSheet

I'm a student, i currently have a project which i requires help from the community.

I'm being task to do Sales in the business function/department.

I have to do 4 - 6 spreadsheets and i'm not sure what kind of spreadsheet does the SALES business department do. Advise please.

I'm not sure what kind of spreadsheet to create for the SALES department, help and advise please.

For the project specification, can someone help me by suggestion when to use the formula etcs, and what additional formulas to use.

If anyone has a template of Sales spreadsheet, it would be better.
