    1 click highlights multiple cells?

Hello everyone, this is my first post here. My question is, in one of my spread sheets when I go and pick a cell, it picks a number of cells. Right now it will pick 5 rows and 2 columns. I would like to know how do I get rid of this fuction?

Thank you in advanced for the help

    Re: cells

Does this happen with any cell, or a specific location? If the latter, I suspect you have merged cells. (Select, press Ctrl+1, then on the Alignment tab uncheck the Merge Cells option)

    Re: cells

This happens anywhere I click a cell on the workbook. It dosn't merge the cells, it just high lights them. If I click a cell it highlights that one and the one to the right then if I drag to the left in will unhighlight the cell to the right.
    Thanks

Solved it. It had to do with the zoom on the page. All I did was press ctrl+roll the wheel on the mouse and zoomed it in just a little and problem went away.

Hmm... If there are other more reliable suggestions I'd be glad to hear. It just self-corrected the problem after I pasted a 10X5 grid of cells from one page to another...! Doesn't make any sense I can tell. :o
