Concatenate won't work

Hello.

I've checked the column categories. The top row is set to "general", the rows below are set to "text"
When I use the formula tool and the formula argument pop up window shows up, it displays the formula correctly and the correct result. I hit OK and just the formula shows up in D2.

I've read that the options/formula has to be "unticked" but not sure what that means since there are a lot of formula checkboxes and no general FORMULA on FORMULA off box.

So what gives?
I'm stuck.

Hello and welcome to the forum. Go to the FORMULAS tab, 3rd group of options (Formula Auditing), and click on Show Formulas.

That should toogle the actual formulas versus just the results of the formulas.

Clicking on Show Formulas doesn't toggle anything. It looks like it just broadens out the cells.

I might add that I used the formula library section to generate this. I used Text icon and then entered the cell numbers in each drop down box along with a " " space in between. Again after using that the correct results show up but disappear when the pop window closes after pressing OK

Could you upload a sample of your workbook with this problem as it works fine at my end?

the formula works in cells 3 and beyond but not 2.
I'm not sure how to "upload a sample"

This cell must be formatted differently. You can upload a workbook by first clicking on the Go Advanced button below this textbox then there were will be a button that looks like a paperclip which will open the upload userform.
