Pivot Chart - Unable to bring back data once unselected

Hi all,

Long time no see, but I need your help once again. Using XL2000 for this.

I've created a pivot chart which displays multiple different data lines, im having a problem that when i choose just one data to view from the drop down list, when I go back to the drop down to choose a different data all the list with the check boxes have gone.

Is there anyway in XL 2000 that in my data list i can uncheck and check to my liking?

No - you have to drag the field from the field list back onto the pivot table.

Is there anyway to get around this beside building my own pivot like table with lookups...

You could use code to add/remove the data from the underlying table.

Yeah i was contemplating that... but decided to create some manual dynamic graphs instead.
