Sort Table on protected worksheet

I have a table of cells on a protected worksheet with a filter on this range of cells.

The problem is when the worksheet is protected then I can not use the sort feature on the filter options because of the sheet being protected.

Is there something I can do to keep the sheet protected while sorrting the table.

TOOLS - PROTECTION - PROTECT SHEET

Go down the list of options, you will be able to tick/untick the SORT option. The only problem with that is assuming that you have done this to protect the integrity of the data, all other users will also be able to sort when the workbook is protected....
