    Conditional formatting

    Hi,
using conditional formating I want to highlight in one column cells that meet a condition using values from a different column.
    I have the following formula
    =IF($K:$K>50000,1,0)
but I cannot get it to work...
Can someone please give me some help..
    Thanks

    Re: Conditional formating question

Try just =$K1>50000 and copy -> select rest of columns -> Paste spetial -> formats
Never use Merged Cells in Excel

    Re: Conditional formating question

Your formula test does not make sense.

Are you trying to compare a value in a cell with the value in same row column K.

Maybe you could post an example workbook, manually identify those cells that should have CF applied.
    Cheers
