    Data Reduction

    We have a column of time series data in which there are sections that rise above a certain criterion (these sections are called "breaks"). We are looking for a formula or a way to be able to see how many sections (breaks) that meet that criteria are in a column. However, we are not looking for the total number of cells that meet the criteria, but instead the number of breaks and the number of cells in each break.

    Could you post a sample workbook showing what you mean? I think I get it, but am not 100% sure.
