    option button grey out

    Hi,

I am using an option button and wondered if it was possible to change the colour or grey it out whether it is clicked or not.

even better would be to just have two words one in each cell, when one cell is clicked it displays the word bold and greyed out. then I would need the option button.

    Any ideas?

First, please add your version of Excel to your profile.

Second, you need to have at least two option buttons for them to do anything useful. I have attached an example of two option buttons that have black text when selected but have gray text when not selected. (The phrase "grayed out" is jargon for "disabled". In my example the text is gray but the buttons are not "grayed out.")

Look at the code supporting the buttons to see how that works. In Design Mode, right-click the button then select View Code.
