Re: Locking one table then hyperlinking to another

Thnaks for receiving my first post. If in the wrong place, please advise and re-direct. I would like to be able to 1) make a selection from a validation list that follows the last intended entry in a table. 2) Have that table locked. 3) Hyperlink to another table. My major problem is with the locking (with minimal keystrokes) of the first table. Can I simply choose from the validation list and have the table locked as I go to the chosen table? Or is there an intermediate step that need be taken?

Again, if this post has been placed wrongly, please advise.

Have read very good answers to unasked questions!

    Yours,

    Minkah

Minkah, the post is placed fine, but I'm afraid I have no idea what you want to achieve.

To best describe or illustrate your problem you would be better off attaching a dummy workbook, the workbook should contain the same structure and some dummy data of the same type as the type you have in your real workbook - so, if a cell contains numbers & letters in this format abc-123 then that should be reflected in the dummy workbook.

If needed supply a before and after sheet in the workbook so the person helping you can see what you are trying to achieve.

Doing this will ensure you get the result you need!
