I have data in cells A1:E1 in a worksheet titled old. I want to copy this data into
cells A2:A6 of a worksheet titled new. How do I do this? If possible, I would rather use a formula rather than a macro. This webpage depicts what I am trying to do, except that I need to copy from one worksheet to another.

Put this formula in Sheet2!A2 and then copy the cell down:
=INDEX(old!$1:$1, ROW(A1))
ROW(A1) is another way of saying "1" thus grabbing the first value in the indexed range, and when that formula copies down, it changes to ROW(A2) which translates to "2" which then grabs the second value in the indexed range. And so on...
