    Merged Cell Spacing

I have a merged cell the equivalent of three rows tall. I could like to display something like this in the single merged cell:

    1) A
    2) B
    3) C

Yet hitting "Enter" after "1) A" simply takes me down to the next cell. Other than using spacebar until a new line is reached, is there a way to jump down a line within a single merged cell, like you would in a word document?

    Thanks

ALT ENTER will give you a line break within the cell.
