I want to apply conditional formatting using table reference syntax. Is that feasible?

I want to apply conditional formatting using table reference syntax. Is that feasible?

Within Conditional formatting, just select the entire table and Use Formula
=$A2=1 (assuming A2 is the first cell selected in your table. Does that work for you?

substitute commas with semi-colons if your region settings requires

Yes sir, I understand how to use it in general. However, on a particular spreadsheet I have a number of complicated CFs and am debating whether to create named ranges to make them more clear. However, if table naming syntax works, there wont be a need to create the range names.
