Finding the last date of the year

Hello,

Is there a way to find the last date of the current year based on a list of dates from this year? I have a list from A1:A365 and would like the end date to come up automatically whenever a year changes to the next.

Are saying in A1:A365 you have a list of dates but not a complete list and you want to know the last date entered...?

=MAX(A1:A365)
