    I know, and it isn't working the way it is supposed to! UGH!

    You gave me an idea...I closed the "transmitting" cell workbook(it was opened separately, i.e. not within the other so as to create an ability to jump from workbook to workbook in the "view" tab(in 2010)) and reopened it within the existing Excel that was already opened. Bam! It works. Not sure if that is a bug or not...but thanks a ton for the post that got me thinking differently.
