Trying to add preset fields as drop downs

    Hi,

We have 10 people who can manage a similar function, and I am trying to create a drop down by name and when chosen it auto fills in similar fields.

How do I set this up in Excel?

    Thanks,
    Rob

I am confused when you say 'Fills in similar fields'

if you could give us an example or upload a workbook that would help.

One method of creating a drop down list is to use Data Validation with the list option. This requires creating a list of names which is referenced as the source in the Data Validation dialog.
See this link for help on using Data validation

What you are asking to to can probably best be accomplished by using VLOOKUP in conjuction with a loop up table fromw hich to pull the relevant information correlated to the drop down selection.

See this link for help on using VLOOKUP to pull information from a look up table.
