    Re: calculation times

    Thanks martin.
one other question if i have the 50 numbers in columnA but this time i put the letter T in (a25) and i am picking 2 random picks from ColA and then adding them together i am using the button to add the result in c5,d5,e5 and also c6,d6,e6 and c7,d7,e7.but if for ei c5 picks 2 numbers but 1 is the T then c5,d5,e5 displays the letter T and c6,d6,e6,c7,d7,e7 calculates as normal. This is hard to explain,Any advice would be great.

    Re: calculation times

To best describe or illustrate your problem you would be better off attaching a dummy workbook, the workbook should contain the same structure and some dummy data of the same type as the type you have in your real workbook - so, if a cell contains numbers & letters in this format abc-123 then that should be reflected in the dummy workbook.

If needed supply a before and after sheet in the workbook so the person helping you can see what you are trying to achieve.

Doing this will ensure you get the result you need!
