I'm having a couple challenges with the conditional formattting in Excel 2007.

1) I have a column with about 60 cells that have condistional formatting. Some have the same conditional formating and some are different. I am trying to edit just a couple cells, but when I select the cells to edit and bring up the MANAGE RULES box, it shows all the cells in the column with the same conditional formatting set (in the applies to area). How can I make it only edit those I have highlighted. I tried removing the cells i did't want to edit in the "applies to" area, but then those cells lose their formatting. BTW, i did change the drop down to select "current selection" but it still edits the entire column.

2) in 2003, i used to be able to create a conditional format for a single cell, then copy paste that cell to others in the same column and have the formula automatically change for that specific row. Example: H10-2.45 when copied to the next cells below would become H11-2.45, H12-2.45, etc. I can't seem to do this in 2007. I would hate to do one cell at a time.

Any help would be appreciated. I hope I was clear in my challenge.

Thanks
