Monthly repartition of a bi weekly report

    Hello everyone,

I have a list of days worked and the corresponding income generated in bi weekly periods. I would like to recalculate the total income but in a monthly repartition.

    It would look like this:

sum days - date of pay - income

    14 - 14 jan. 2010 - 437,18 $
    28 - 28 jan. 2010 - 312,43 $
    42 - 11 feb. 2010 - 676,01 $
    56 - 25 feb. 2010 - 681,16 $
    ...

and I would like to have it like this:

    month - income

    January ??
    February ??
    March ??
    ...

Hope this is clear enough. Thanks in advance for your help

if you want to use for entering data in excel and use its functions you must enter data in cells as required by excel
for example dates are entered as mm/dd/yy and not as texts as you have done. you can format the data to APPEAR as you want (check your regional dispensation)
your first date is to be entered as 1/14/10
number (that is amount ) is to be entered as numbers with decimal points for e.g as 437.18 and format it to appear as you like

in such case you can use <sumproduct> function
