    Conditional Formatting Error

    I've three conditions:

    1. cell value <50 (then color the cell as red)
    2. cell value <=79 (then color the cell as yellow)
    3. cell value >=80 (then color the cell as blue)

the problem is that there is no colouring in cells that have the value 79 & 80.

What is that I'm doing wrong here?

Are those numbers entered as text maybe?

Try placing a 0 in any empty cell, then copy it...

Select the questionable cells and go to Edit|Paste Special and select Add.,.

    Click Ok.

Then erase the 0 cell. Does that fix it?
Where there is a will there are many ways.

    FYI...

Your original setup should work... I tested it.
