how would i take 2 columns, 2 different sheets, compare them and show the items that are not in the other.
I just have a sheet to update that i need to compare to a master sheet. the master sheet has the added cell values that i need, so i just need to extract the new ones.
in the first sheet add a column with formula:
=Isnumber(match(A1,Sheet2!A:A,0)) and copy down
where A1 is first item in current sheet to look for in Sheet2 column A
Do the same for the other sheet replacing sheetname
TRUE means match found, FALSE means no matches.
Where there is a will there are many ways.
