Over time hourly rate = 44.00
Total over time worked = 2:30
Double this time = 5:00
Hourly rate * Double time => 44 * 5:00 = 220.00
How would i calculate over time in currency. Or how would i multiply currency with time to get currency.

Try:
=44*"05:00"*24
=44*TIMEVALUE("05:00")*24

If the hourly rate is in A1, the overtime worked is in A2, double time is in A3 enter this formula (cell formatted as currency)
Formula:
=A1*A3*24
