Drop Down Box with Multiple values

    Hi all,
Is there a way I can create a drop down box that can return several values instead of just one?
    For Example;
In regular drop down box you can choose from the following:
    CH-Channel
    SH-Shell
    UT-Ultrasonic
    MT-Magnetic

I want to be able to pick several of the above to have the cell return:
    CH-Channel, SH-Shell, MG-Magnetic

Is there a way to get this done?
    Thanks.
    Shane

No. Or not with a combo-box (drop down) at any rate.
However, if you were to widen your question to include list-boxes (like a combo-box, but doesn't drop down) then the answer would be yes.

You would need to design a list-box using either the Control Toolbox toolbar, or the Forms toolbar (Forms is easier, so I'll give instructions on that one). Once you've drawn the control, right click and select Format Control, then the Control tab and make sure that Multi is selected under the selection type.

Re: Drop Down Box with Multiple values

    DominicB,
    Thanks for the help.
I created the List Box as I know how and also used a tutorial for help but I still cannot return several items from my List Box. When I have the Control box on "Single" I can return one of the values from the List Box but when I select "Multi" in the Control I only return the value "0". I am not sure what I am doing incorrectly.
    Thanks again for the help.

To best describe or illustrate your problem you would be better off attaching a dummy workbook, the workbook should contain the same structure and some dummy data of the same type as the type you have in your real workbook - so, if a cell contains numbers & letters in this format abc-123 then that should be reflected in the dummy workbook.

If needed supply a before and after sheet in the workbook so the person helping you can see what you are trying to achieve.

Doing this will ensure you get the result you need!
    Hope that helps.
