    PIVOT TABLE : Flipping Row/Columns

    Hi All,

I have some data set up like this:

    \1

When I add this data to a pivottable the Field List shows just the list of dates:

    05/04/2010
    12/04/2010
    19/04/2010 etc

When I manually make the data the other way round i.e. with the dates listed down in rows and the PM, BUS etc. along the column headers the Field List is usable.

Is there any way I can use my data as it is without alot of manual rework?

What do you mean by the Field list is usable? Do you have an excel example of what you are working with?

If you want PM, BUS etc to be fields, they have to be at the top of the columns. To be honest I'm not sure why you are building a pivot table off data that appears to have already been cross-tabulated.
