Page Setup / Fit to Page

I have an Excel worksheet that I changed in Page Setup to be 1 page wide and 40 pages tall. After doing this, the worksheet is exactly 1 x 40. Then, after I try to clean up the look a bit by moving some of the page breaks, it keeps reverting to a 1 page wide, 8 page tall format. How do I get it to STAY at the 1x40 Fit-To option?

I'm sorry I can't provide a dummy file this time around.

    Thanks in advance,

    Keith

You could record a macro of you adjusting the page setup the way you want it. Then run the macro after you clean up the file.

Re: Page Setup / Fit to Page Question

    hi Keith,

What are the rules you apply when you manually put the page breaks where you want them the be?
Edit: for example, do you put a page break after every x rows, or do you put a page break after the end of each "block" of data?
