Hi,
This seems to be me to be a problem people would encounter on a regular basis but I cannot find a thread along these lines. So I apologise if I am repeating someone else.
I have several thousand rows of data in excel which is spread across seven columns. I was wondering if there is an easy way to search to see if any rows are duplicated in the data. The graphs produced by pivot tables suggest there is some duplication.
How do I search to see whether there has been duplicated entries where all 7 lines of information would have to coincide to be considered a duplicate?
In doing this is it possible to highlight the original row and its duplicate so it can easily be identified?
I have attched a very basic example of what I am talking about (unfortunately I am working on a different computer to normal so the attachment is in Excel 2007 but I need to know how to do this is Excel 2003 - sorry if this causes confusion)
Thanks for your assistance!
