    Conditional Format for Odd-Even Months

Need to highlight odd and even months for a column that has consecutive dates(01/01/10...01/02/10....to 12/31/10). The formula I need I think is =IsOdd(MOD(MONTH(D6),12)) but in the formula bar I haven't hit on the right = to because it keeps erroring out.

Looking through other threads since yesterday, I haven't found one quite like this. If someone could save me some time and frustration I would appreciate it.

    =mod(month(d6), 2) = 1 is an odd month.

I tried it and it works except that the last two days of each series do not get formatted even though they are odd numbered months.

Looked back at the formula and the copy made the formula reference D6 instead of D4 so everything is fine now. Thanks for a very quick answer.
