Pivot chart help

I have a pivot table that is showing the revenue and day of the month it was received(daily). How can I format a table to roll it up to show the monthly revenue not daily? TIA!

If the source is an actual date value - group the field by Month (& Year if desired)

(easiest to do this on the PT table rather than the PT chart - right click on Date Field -> Group)
