    Price list increase by %

    Hi Guys
I still need help with this.
I have 6 columns of prices running across the top of my spread sheet from A1 TO F6 down to A500 & F500.
I need to update these prices at different intervals by a percentage
Sometimes it could be 2% or 5% or whatever.
I would like to create a box at the base or top of each column that I can input the % increase or decrease I need.
I then want all the prices to update by that percentage.
Is there a way of doing this without creating extra columns of prices, I just want the the prices in columns A B C D E F down to 500 to update when I type the percentage increase in the created box at the top or bottom of each column. I would also like to be able to decrease the price by typing in the same box.
    I’m using 2007
    Many Thanks.

Re: Price list increase by %

    You might try this:

Type 102% (or 1.02) into A1, then copy that cell. Select A2:A500 and right-click and choose PasteSpecial -> Multiply -> OK.

Do that for columns B:F, too. This can likely be automated with a macro if you wanted.
