Unable to make an Excel template

I am trying to start a league and need an excel file to keep track of the players. The league game will be held one ever two weeks and will have 50 people. I need to keep track of the points for each person and the amount of money earned each time they play.

At the end of the year the top 16 point leaders get to play a special game. I need something where I can enter the game day date give them a mark if they showed up (they get one points just for showing up) and then enter the points they win for placing in the top eight. I have looked everywhere for templates online but cant find anything that will help me.

I am not very good with excel that is why I am looking for a template
