Deleted files with Macros, Want to delete all macros which are hidden - how to fix?
My excel is going nuts! I created some hidden macros and can see them but am not able to remove as I deleted the files!
What is the best fix? Excel is sending out notices to other employees about sharing, I can't open excel AT ALL right now!
Should I uninstall and reinstall Excel or Microsoft Suite? Will this get rid of the macros?

Hi, are the macros in a shared workbook? Then you need to unshare first before you can do anything with them.
If not in a shared workbook: what happens if you delete the code in the code window? What happens if you delete the module in the project?
Are you sure the macros are stored in the files you deleted?
yes, i'm sure i deleted the files. rats...

Do you see the code in the VBE? Then you have not deleted the files where the code is stored.
no i don't see the code.
Is there a way to delete the macros without the files?
Is the code saved to PERSONAL.xls? If the macros are in an ordinary workbook then deleting the file should delete the macros
