how to allow multiple people to update the excel sheet ?

    Hi,

I am in the process of preparing a worksheet, which will allow multiple people at the same time to update that sheet. This worksheet will contain details about Virtual Machine, creation, backup, in short a complete life cycle of the VM.

I have lots of plans in terms of functionality of this worksheet.
For starters, here are my few questions

    1) I am going to have atleast 15 columns in this sheet.

    a) I want that once the person starts to fill the column, he should first complete the entire 15 colums, before the excel can allow him to save the data - How shoiuld I do that ?

    b) There are multiple Admin who will be working on this sheet at the same time, how can I be sure that excel allows us to enter multiple data at the same time on the same sheet from different people ?

    c) Once, the data is entered, I would like to have a date and time automatically populated on one of the columns - How to do that ?

These are few my questions for everybody. I will keep you all updated, about the progress of my excel sheet.

    Thanks

you wont be able to have that with workbook sharing you should look at a database like access instead
