    Auto sorting

I am trying to get excel to automatically identify a particular word (contained in column G) and then basted on that word copy the contents of that row into a new sheet. I have attached a copy of the document that I am working on – you can see that I have gotten sheet 2 act as the “called” list but that it is only half working. Any help would be great. Thanks

    Re: Auto sorting

You are not "sorting" as your title states but, rather, copying values to another sheet.
In future posts, please be more careful about thread titles as they are used as search criteria to find answers on the forum. Thanks.

This code will automatically place the values on sheet1 into sheet2 whenever the selection in Cateogry is "Called" (and only that).

    Re: Auto sorting

It's already in the workbook I attached in my last post.
The code goes into the sheet module for sheet1.
To view the code, right-click the sheet1 tab and choose view code.
To close the VB Editor, press Alt + Q keys.

Note: the formulas on sheet2 were deleted as they are no longer required since the code writes the values.
