how to make a #n/a amount not displayed in a chart

In a line chart Im doing I want a zeros to not be displayed.

In one of the series of the chart i have this formula: =IF(D3=0,#N/A,D$2/D$3) so that #N/A is shown instead of #div/0 but this causes the chart to display a line that continues to the next axis point but this doesn't suit the purpose of the chart. It needs to just show a gap in the line.

If anyone has an solution for this please help, much appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

In XL2003 click the chart, then Tools - Options - Chart and tick Gaps in the top section.
In XL2007 click the chart, then click "Select Data" on the Design ribbon, then "Hidden and empty cells" and select or "Gaps"
