Decimals and negative numbers (Scroll Bar Form Control)

How does one set the range for the scroll bar between -5.0 and 5.0 - Allowing upto a single decimal place. Using format control only allows positive integers with no decimals.

Follow the link for the screenshot I uploaded-

Any help woulld be gratefully appreciated!

    You can't directly.

Option1: Place the scroll bar over a linked cell (H5) and use a formula in the other like =-5.1+H5/10 Where the scroll bar is linked to H5 Min:=1 and Max:=101 and place over H5

Option2: Can link to cell in other Worksheet (like hidden)

Could you be more specific? (I'm a n00b with excel)

I understand what you mean by using another cell to assist, but i don't seem to be getting things right...

Now I've go the scroll bar over B3-C3, and I assume I should link it to C3 (not sure how). Where does the =-5.1+C3/10 go?

    I appreciate your assistance.

    In this case
Now I've go the scroll bar over B3-C3, and I assume I should link it to C3 (not sure how). Where does the =-5.1+C3/10 go?
Link the scrol bar to either B3 or C3. B as well as C3 cannot be seen as the scrol bar is over it.

Now put the formula somewhere you want it. If your linked cell is C3 then the above formula is OK. If it was B3, then you need to change C3 into B3.
