[Q] Trying to get partial (delimited) text into an adjacent cell

Hi all, I have three columns, the first has the book with author in parens.
I need to get the author's last name into the second column for about 400 rows. Thanks!

Turns out this was a perfect case for the 'new for me' feature called Flash Fill. It had enough smarts to extract the last name and drop the paren into the new columns. An auto format that worked.
