    Accidentally selecting 300 pages

I have an Excel 2007 file with a number of tabs, about 15. All has worked well until today. All of a sudden I want to print one page and the preview shows I have 300 pages selected!!!!

I cleared all print ranges, even on hidden files. No luck.....

I only selected one page. it tells me my print margins are off but it will not let me get to any changes in page setup......

I tried printing a few of them and I just get the top few rows of each page.

Any ideas to fix this are appreciated...

Delete all rows below your data and all columns to the right, then save and reopen the workbook. You have formatting or other data in the apparently unused rows and columns.

It worked on some but not others. Any more thoughts?? I've never had this happen before.

The combination of clearing, and then deleting, all unused rows and columns, and then clearing the prints areas, should resolve it for all sheets. If not, post a counter-example.

    found the answer

Actually here was the problem. I had to many files open and the memory must have overflowed D'oh!!!!. Someone suggested I close everything and reboot and that did the trick. However, I do appreciate your suggestion. I will use it if this happens again and it's not an overflow situation.

I'll show this as solved and give you a positive rating. thanks again.....
