    Saving macro in Excel 2007

    Hi,

I am not able to save the macro in Excel 2007 work book.
It is prompting a message as attached screen shot. If I save the workbook in .xls (Excel 97-2003) format then it is saving. In .xlsx format, it is not.

Any Idea, Why is it so?

    Thanks in advance,
    Venki

Re: Saving macro in Excel 2007

In Excel 2007, .xlsx means "macro free".

To save with macros, change the file type to *.xlsm.
