I m not able to sort dates in any order because date are not given in system format as "Nov 20 2010" which i want to change in "11/20/2010". Find the attached sheet for more clarification..

Highlight your date strings and run Data -> Text to Columns -> Delimited proceed to Step 3 -> choose Date and option MDY -> click Finish.

Sorry what to do after Delimited? There are some options like tab, semicolon, comma, space, and other. Which option needs to be select?
Just leave as default and proceed to Step 3 as advised - click Finish once you have configured Step 3.
