    Conditional entries

    Dear All,

I want to put a formula in a sheet.

Suppose In issue column there are few nos but until those nos will not be posted in Return column, those will not be posted again in another day's issue column, similarly until those will not be returned, those nos will not be posted in issue column. But for the first two days it will not work as those are first time entries.

But this will be continued working on the next sheet for the next month.

    Please help me.

    Re: Conditional entries

    Hi

Your problem will be a lot easier to understand and solve if you supply a small data sample in a workbook. Make sure to include a "before" and "after" scenario and explain the logic to arrive at the solution.

You can upload a file by clicking "Go Advanced" below and then the paper clip icon.

Your post does not comply with Rule 8 of our Forum RULES. Cross-posting is when you post the same question in other forums on the web. You'll find people are disinclined to respond to cross-posts because they may be wasting their time solving a problem that has been solved elsewhere. We prefer that you not cross-post at all, but if you do (and it's unlikely to go unnoticed), you MUST provide a link (copy the url from the address bar in your browser)to the cross-post. Expect cross-posts without a link to be closed a message will be posted by the moderator explaining why. We are here to help so help us help you!
