    Linked Cells

    Hi,

I have two workbooks, with cells linked from one to the other. Lets say BK1 is linked to BK2. What I want to do is not have the values of the linked cells to show up if BK2 does not exist or is moved. I would rather have an error (#REF) be displayed if the workbook that is being linked to cannot be found.

Is there a way of doing this.

    Thanks

    Re: Linked Cells

If you have two linked workbooks, and delete one of them, refresh the remaining workbook and the #REF! will show, because the link no longer exists. Make sure that the workbook automatically updates when being opened, instead of holding on to the previously stored values.
