Grade Spreadsheet to student reports

I'm a teacher trying to use excel for grading. I can set up a spreadsheet with learning goals listed and student's names and enter student marks and calculate grades. What I can't do is then take ONE student's marks and have another place where a standard progress report is populated for that one student. Its like a spreadsheet connected to a data form that I can print for each student so they can see what they are missing, and I don't have to do one at a time.
I don't know if that is possible. Let me know your thoughts. Our current grading program is very limiting!
