    counting cells with multiple criteria

    i want to know how many times a value appears in column b, if the cell next to it in column a is not blank. please see my attachment.

    Hi Keith, perhaps try:

    =SUMPRODUCT(--(B2:B75="25A-FI38-28-06"),--(A2:A75<>""))

    Note that it's not "F138" it is "FI38", at least based on your values in column B.
