copy the titles next to the data

    hello,

Is it possible in a way to carry the sub-group titles next to the data cells?

In the attached file, I tried to explain in the red cells that what i need..

It is possible to have it with copying down a simple copy formula but this takes too much time. I tried to create a "match" formula but no hope.

Is there an easier way? can anyone help me?

    thanks in advance

Attached is a solution. Use an IF statement to check if there is a number above. When it's blank, that means it needs a new number. Get new from a cell thats up 1 and over 2.

=IF(ISNUMBER( cell above ), cell above, cell 1 up 2 left)
    =IF(ISNUMBER(F16),F16,D16)
