XL 2003 - Tools, Options , Custom list tab, click New List on the left and enter list values in the right hand side box, click Add, click OK

XL 2007 - Office Button, Excel Options, Popular, Edit Custom List, click New List on the left and enter list values in the right hand side box, click Add, click OK

Now you can use the fill handle to autofill with the previously defined list
